Jewellery Care
All jewellery can be preserved longer with a little extra love and care. While we have tested and believe in our jewellery's quality, it is always important to make sure they stand the test of time! Jewellery is beautiful, but not invincible!
- Children under 6 should not play with jewellery as it can be a choking hazard. Jewellery pendants/chains are fine and can cause injury.
- Jewellery should be removed when going to the beach or the pool. The water is harsher and may damage your jewellery. Abrasive objects (rocks/sand) can also lead to cosmetic damage.
- Store your jewellery in a closed box or bag, preferably the jewellery box it came with to keep dust and the elements away when it is not in use.
- Keep jewellery away from chemicals, perfume, hairspray and soap/detergent. Chemicals can cause disintegration in the alloys over time.
- It is recommended that jewellery is removed before bed. Tossing and turning at night may damage the jewellery by stretching and weakening them.
- Polish your jewellery once every week to keep that shine. You can use the polishing cloth that is included with your purchase.
