ALAHAS’ aesthetic and conception is inspired in Filipino roots. The creator of ALAHAS was born and lived in Mindanao for the first 12 years of her life, eventually immigrating to New Zealand.
We are proud to enter the jewellery space and provide a different world to our customers. Our contemporary jewellery design choices were influenced from navigating the Asian/Filipino diaspora and all the nuances that dance in between. If you share the same sentiments, we hope you feel the connection or through our jewellery names, the style, designs, and the aesthetic.

Sustainability:
ALAHAS is dedicated in practicing and improving our sustainability standards with every step we take.
We have been tedious in our due diligence to partner with manufacturers that hold legal certifications which abide by ethical working regulations and ethical resourcing. Responsible manufacturing and material sourcing is a continuous effort that we believe in.
The packaging that we use are recyclable and contribute to a more sustainable future. Our mailers are made from 100% recycled ocean bound plastic pollution. We line these mailers with a naturally biodegradable and compostable honeycomb packing paper, steering away from the traditional bubble-wrap.
Our ALAHAS Jewellery boxes are covered with biodegradable paper which offers unique take on a traditional jewellery box. The box itself is made of cardboard - one of the most sustainable packaging materials. Our cardboard is not lined in plastic film, coated with wax or covered in pollutants such as glitter, velvet or foil. This further increases it’s percentage in recyclability.
We plan on continuously improving our sustainability practices as we craft our start-up, small business and grow. Our final aim is 100% traceability of all materials across our supply chain. As we work towards that step, we thank you for your support and understanding.
